#MusicMonday: The Saturdays - Ego

The Saturdays - Ego 2 Pictures, Images and Photos
Vanessa, Una, Rochelle, Franki & Mollie of the Saturdays
have definitely got themselves a hit with their 2nd single from their 2nd album Wordshaker.

In the music video the girls all play a super heroine with distinct powers as they all slowly but surely get their revenge on the "superhero" [the star of the show] after going solo & ditching the girls to the side leaving the group distraught & disbanded as they sing how much he [the significant other in the relationship] has took for granted them and all the things they have done for him.
EGO took over.

Egocentric thinking and actions - this song hits it right on the dot. Point blank.
Egoism is selfish is blind to how much people actually do and care for you.
This song hits home so HARD for me relationship-wise & friendship-wise because both are the reasons for breakups and loss friends. I swear this is my song besides the fact its sung by females.
This song are my sentiments exactly.
I live these lyrics
I cosign w/ this song 100!

Ciara & The Saturdays "WORK"

Cici & The Sats
just recently put out a music video for their songs "WORK"

Ciara - WORK (feat Missy Elliot)

Does Cici know what shes doing to me on with this music video
She got my favorite MC on the track wit her
& She got to dancing: flicking & tossing sand in the air in that aqua blue dress
and putting in WORK on the constuction site
with all that coochie poppin, swivel legs & the iconic matrix.
Still rocking that ponytail & swinging it like a helicopter like its hers smh Plus yall must not know im a sucker for STUNNAS & I want those Shades CiCi!
the analogies in this song are reDONKulous
deff club joint - got me dancing in my seat

Next we got...

The Saturdays - WORK

Mollie, Vanessa, Frankie, Rochelle & Una of The Saturdays(in singing order)
really sex(y)'d it up... especially Mollie (blonde) cuz she's usually the cute lil Baby Spice of the group. Vanessa deff brought the power vocals in that pink&black jumpsuit opposite from the group's black attire. Im diggin' Frankie's dance moves & flip of hair (short hair - Brunette), my wife Rochelle has never been SEXIER! in that dress. Straight makings of a model, MY MODEL so dont look too hard :) & Una is already sexy looking like Elizabeth Hurley.
They did they lil dance sequence in and i aint made at em.
Go Sats!
(looking all kinds of sexy)

Well I hope you've enjoyed my two "Work" vids
and you should know that you should
"put your boots on baby" and "Work! Work! Work! Work! Work! Bitch you betta work!"

sorry this post is late..
i was busy

3 New Artists [Mikeman approved]

NEW ARTIST
*ALERT*
VV Brown, O'Neal McKnight & Sweet Rush

VV Brown - Crying Blood
VV Brown is a brit and is a very theatrical singer/songwriter. Her blend of pop/r&b/indie/punk/soul is incredible...
her song "Crying Blood" is pretty raw and live tho such sad lyric for a upbeat song but great metaphor crying blood cuz breakups are literally like crying blood as weve all either seen or felt
very catchy - worth the listen

O'Neal McKnight - Check Your Coat
I F*CKIN' LOVE the song!
O'Neal is is from South Carolina and is definetly holding it down for R&B
He's reminiscent to the greatest Michael Jackson with his real smooth, party & futuristic music! I love this dude. Im def buying his album Prom 2088 coming out later this year if Diddy doesnt F*CK his career up!
this jam is addictive and makes your wanna groove

Sweet Rush - Hot Sause
Sisters (Iman & Siham) of Sweet Rush are born in Somalia & raised in Toronto, Canada and picked up by Konvict Records. I like theyre flava and how they do what they do...

Madcon vs The Saturdays - Beggin'

My NEW FAVOURITE SONG is
Madcon - Beggin'
&
The Saturdays - Beggin'

Photobucket
Madcon
[Tshawe Baqwa & Yosef Wolde-Mariam]
are a Norwegian hip-hop/rap group

&
Photobucket
The Saturdays
[Rochelle, Mollie, Una, Vanessa & Frankie]
are a UK Pop/Dance/Electropop 5 piece girl group

both recorded the same song...sorta
Madcon of Norway first covered this older song as thier first single from thier new album So Dark The CON of Man...
Then as a new group, The Saturdays of England covered their song and it became a hit! They're getting nothing but good reviews from it!

The difference in the songs are as different as pop and hip-hop are!
If you want hip-hop and that delivery
download the MADCON version of "Beggin'"
If you want the catchy pop version you can sing to without the rap in between
download THE SATURDAYS version of "Beggin'"

Madcon - Beggin'

The Saturdays - Beggin'

It's your call
Tell me what you think
I love both versions
& have to play them back to back
cuz I love the song that much!

Ready for the Weekends...

Photobucket
Well here's THE SATURDAYS

They're my new pop UK sensation!
Boy, do I fancy them!
The Saturdays [Frankie, Rochelle, Una, Vanessa & Mollie]
A 5 piece Pop, Electropop, Dance-pop girl group hailing from the UK & taking the British airways by storm! And it just so happened that they caught me by storm too... They're my new musical fixation satisfying my addiction for UK music
(cuz as we all know im a sucka for UK music...just in case ya didnt know). They're cute, have great voices, a typical great color coordinated girl group style.

Plus, their debut album.... I WANT!
Photobucket
The Saturdays Chasing Lights

The GIRLS are all very charming. Una is from Ireland is one of the 2 lead vocalist with an amazing voice and these amazing blue eyes w/ her red/brunette hair...its a good look. Frankie has the short hair and was previously in S Club 8 as a child. Dont really have much a feel for this girl but it wouldnt be the same without her. Mollie the blonde had competted in X-Factor as a fan favourite and was previously in a girl group by the name of Fallen Angelz brings a sweet innocent appeal & sound to the group. Now Vanessa is mixxxed: Philippino & English known by the group as their "Christina Aguilera" cuz the girl got her some pipes! My second fav of the group & Lastly, my fav, my sexy English chocolate, Rochelle. Obviously of English & either Caribbean or African descent was also previously in S Club 8 as a child and just brings the statuous model look & voice to the group.

Their SONGS are awesone! Their 1st single "If This Is Love" showcased a bit of all the girls voices & a pretty neat dance beat that makes that noggin'-a-boppin'. The video was crazy colorful and had thier signature "album cover pose" on it as they flaunt & strut all throughtout the video///Their 2nd single "Up" is my shit! The girl can really sing!!!! and the video is genious & so colorful...U just have to see it to believe me///3rd single "Issues" is surprisingly deeper than you'd expect from a pop group and is still a great song about a relationship

The Saturdays - Up

This was The Saturdays
Hope you'll enjoyed them as much as I do.

So ready for The Saturdays,
Mikeman

Talk About "USING" Men...

[First off, KNOW that im a sucka for UK MUSIC.
I mean no one but GLO really know how glued I am to the UK music scene.]

Anyways one of my favorite girl groups/pop acts/artists the SUGABABES...so took using men to the extreme!

So let me introduce from their controversially titled 7th studio album Catfights and Spotlights

Sugababes - "No Can Do"
(watch & learn ppl)

NOW... do you see how they (The SUGABABES: Keisha, Amelle & Heidi) literally used men. Like im all for creativity and originality in videos but as a man... Oh man! I'm like how could you use my species like that girls haha
but its all good in the name of a music video!

Used & Abused (in a good way),
Mikeman
