The Drive

Sometimes I wish I would of started this drive a little earlier on this journey.
I was always the type to say,
"we'll get there when we get there"
but now I want to be there and I'm not there.
My dream, my goal
it was never slept on
it just wasn't as aggressively pursued.
I spent too much time in cruise control and not in the fastlane.
Now my goal is sightseeing and I'm fixated on the sights.
I have dreams, supreme.
Entangled in the arts, caught up is my heart.
My goals in life have multiplied,
pursuing them I'll do until the day I die.
I wish I could paint you this picture

I'm not too far off because I'm in the vicinity
but I've got to get going because now is where I want to be
but I'm still working on getting there.
Now is the place and this is the this the time,
so don't count me as late,
I just merely haven't arrived.

Thurdsay 1/7/10 my homie Luis & I joined and started working out that day.
& boy did I do damage to my arms.
"no pain no gain" tho right
I was sore like HELL the next day tho.

Working out at home just wasn't cuttin' it anymore.
There's only so much improvements I can do at home

Expecting big things #in2010 haha

Well, I always envisioned making my own & it would be tentitively titled,
Chicken Noodle Soup for the STOOPID
For all the people out there who wonder if they're stupid or not. NOT stupid as in not smart cuz I would never call someone that but stupid as in ignorant, arragant, ppl who act before they think, ppl lacking common sense, reasoning, taking all things into consideration, low self-esteem, etc and all things necessary for life - in actuality it would be a self help book, a DIY (do it yourself) book.

I'd fill it with my saying, favorite quotes, beliefs, scriptures, favorite lyrics that speak volumes (i.e. "Don't be a HARD ROCK, when you really are a GEM" -Lauryn Hill), and just my insight & knowlegde on how to better yourself Mikeman-style.

So I guess, my book would not only be a self help book but also teach the ill-informed, ignorant, haters, lames, bitchassness infected, etc ppl to change their ways in drops of knowledge cuz "I'm not giving you brain, Im giving you knowledge" (Estelle)

My book will be balancing catering to the quote/unquote stoopid & just as a book of my teaching in ways to excel in life through my eyes, my life - "Koloring OUTSIDE the lines" is the new title!

Close...but no cigar

So I'm incredibly, NO desperatly close to being able to buying a car!
"So close I can almost taste" according to Natasha Bedingfield :) its not even funny.
I've been traveling around the city of Phoenix via public transportation aka the bus (Valley Metro)...and it SUCKS ASS!
1hr30mins from home to school
[vice versa]
1hr30mins from home to work
[Luckily I get a ride home]

That's 3 to 4hrs being spent traveling on the bus a day!

So I'm sure u get the picture.
I'm a 19 yo college student in need of a car cuz asking/bumming for rides to parties or where ever else I want/need to go AINT COOL at all.

But like I said the funds are almost there. I'm guess after this semester in May I'll have enough saved up to go out an buy me a car!
