Close...but no cigar

So I'm incredibly, NO desperatly close to being able to buying a car!
"So close I can almost taste" according to Natasha Bedingfield :) its not even funny.
I've been traveling around the city of Phoenix via public transportation aka the bus (Valley Metro)...and it SUCKS ASS!
1hr30mins from home to school
[vice versa]
1hr30mins from home to work
[Luckily I get a ride home]

That's 3 to 4hrs being spent traveling on the bus a day!

So I'm sure u get the picture.
I'm a 19 yo college student in need of a car cuz asking/bumming for rides to parties or where ever else I want/need to go AINT COOL at all.

But like I said the funds are almost there. I'm guess after this semester in May I'll have enough saved up to go out an buy me a car!

Touch-A-Truck

I do community service/volunteer work
for a class of mine every saturday 10am to 1pm.
Aight? Aight.
So this last Saturday
the City of Glendale hosted
Touch-A-Truck
an event were the community can come and see
the many different trucks there are on the road.
They had...
police cars, tractors, watertanks, cranes, a school bus, UPS truck, semi-trucks, diesels, Hummers, a firetruck and last but not least
the Oscar Meyer Weiner


WHO IN THE WORLD GETS THE CHANCE TO SAY THEY GOT TO SEE THE OSCAR MEYER WEINER!

My job was to watch kids get on a jumper slide...only 2 @ a time
I HATE WORKING WITH KIDS
& the yellow shirt was mandatory for volunteers otherwise i sooooooo would NOT of worn that.

Car Stories of the Weekend

So yesterday...
I went to my high school [La Joya Community High School] football game. We played the state champions and lost 17-50 but but up a lil bit of a fight?! hahha NO matter I still rep for the "LOBOS", rain or shine, win or lose haha
on to the cars so before i left to the football game...

There has been a broken down CAR in the middle of my cul-de-sac since monday
and it finally left or got towed friday sometime before i came back from school? Either way im glad its gone cuz it was preventing my dad and most of my neighbors from parking normally on their driveways...

Second CAR...would be the one we were driving to the game with....it like stalled out in the middle of the road round 11! I was like OMG! Were stalled out and I look to good to be pushing a damn car haha but it restarted and all was good, then we got some food.

Last CAR, while parking waiting for our food this happened
A CAR RAN IN TO A DITCH! Cops came, the Ambulance & Paramedics came and I was in shock! but being the photographer I am...I took a pic for you all hahaha
