First day is always filled with boring syllabus talk as the professor blabs on about class expectations, student requirements, etc --- crickets were head campusewide it was so boring.

Classes
ACCOUNTING was something familiar for me as a business major. I'm taking an 8 week class for both ACC 230 & 240 to get it all over with. After the syllabus chatter we got straight to work since its a 2hr class. Straight to the point which is why I like this class despite me disliking accounting haha this class should be executed swiftly & deadly! (Even though accounting isn't my strong point...)& having this class at 8 is tiring since I'm still in sleep mode. Nonetheless, accounting is an evil I must conquer to acquire an Associates degree in Business.

MATH bores me. I don't like math. Never did but I still put in the necessary work to make the grades I want in the subject. Hoping for the same with this class in Calculus.

CIS (Computer Information Systems) feels like Computers 101 so far... don't know much about the this class since we haven't done much but that's all a matter of time until I'm drowning in CIS work. Until then this class is so boring I almost fall asleep everyday in this class.

So that was my first week of school.

Close...but no cigar

So I'm incredibly, NO desperatly close to being able to buying a car!
"So close I can almost taste" according to Natasha Bedingfield :) its not even funny.
I've been traveling around the city of Phoenix via public transportation aka the bus (Valley Metro)...and it SUCKS ASS!
1hr30mins from home to school
[vice versa]
1hr30mins from home to work
[Luckily I get a ride home]

That's 3 to 4hrs being spent traveling on the bus a day!

So I'm sure u get the picture.
I'm a 19 yo college student in need of a car cuz asking/bumming for rides to parties or where ever else I want/need to go AINT COOL at all.

But like I said the funds are almost there. I'm guess after this semester in May I'll have enough saved up to go out an buy me a car!

2nd Semester

...so my second semester @ GCC
[GLENDALE COMMUNITY COLLEGE]
in Glendale, Arizona started after MLK Day.
My classes are MAT 120, ENG 101, HUM 190 & ACC 190

-Math is lame. Math is the devil.
-English looks like it'll be fun. I had AP English in high school so this will be an ease
-Humanities is very involved...its an honors class on leadership
-Accounting...will suck ass but im a business major so i gotta take it

Overall, I think this semester will be better than the last
yet harder at the same time.
