Hello [HELL NO] from the SCARY AS HELL black bug at my door

So Thursday (July 2, 2009)
Mom & I are coming home from picking me up form work.
As were arriving home we see something pretty big on the wall by the porch light?


(now if we can see it from pulling into the driveway its pretty big)

So were in the car saying "its a rutabaga," and some other stuff just playing around. I get out the car to see what it is cuz regardless, I have to open the door to get into the house.



I approach to see what it is - its a GIGANTIC BLACK ASS BUG
its like the size of my 2 fingers (and i got big long fingers)


its a BIG ASS BEETLE and that's all I know
Long black antennas, 6 long legs, wings for days, a sharp pincer & put the fear of idk what in me. TERROR was what cam over me...
Lord knows black ppl & bugs don't mix.
[And if you dont know I AM AFRAID OF BUGS]
It was "larger than LIFE," I have no idea where it came from? why it was there? NADA, but it scared the SH!T outta me.

So if there are any entomologists out there,
please enlighten me about the bug that greeted me at the door.

But inner disputes caused them (the boricua and the pretty girl: Adrienne & Kiely) to kick the dark one (Naturi) out the group and it was never the same. They were then a duo for a while then tried adding a replacement girl (Jessica) to the group but that flopped.

That was until Adrienne Bailon & Kiley Williams joined the Cheetah Girls...which had its run and fair share in Teen/Toon Disney's limelight but now has ran its coarse and has now ended.

a lunch discussion gone RACIST lol

So my mom & I were debating what to have for lunch today.
And we decided on the Jamaican restaurant Caribbean Flavas
Cuz we were craving some curried goat & some fish.

Anyways after we ordered our meal
we had to wait 20 mins.

So since its release date

Keri Hilson - IN A PERFECT WORLD...
has been sold out in every Target (pronounced Tarjé) & Walmart (WallyWorld)
and its beyond PISSING ME OFF
Ive waited too too TOO LONG for this album and when i went to go purchase it on that tues it was sold out.
Ive been back multiple times but still NO LUCK
& im sure as HELL not about to RAINCHECK IT
last CD I raincheck was WELCOME TO THE DOLLHOUSE
and that was an ordeal...not to mention look at them now :)

Close...but no cigar

So I'm incredibly, NO desperatly close to being able to buying a car!
"So close I can almost taste" according to Natasha Bedingfield :) its not even funny.
I've been traveling around the city of Phoenix via public transportation aka the bus (Valley Metro)...and it SUCKS ASS!
1hr30mins from home to school
[vice versa]
1hr30mins from home to work
[Luckily I get a ride home]

That's 3 to 4hrs being spent traveling on the bus a day!

So I'm sure u get the picture.
I'm a 19 yo college student in need of a car cuz asking/bumming for rides to parties or where ever else I want/need to go AINT COOL at all.

But like I said the funds are almost there. I'm guess after this semester in May I'll have enough saved up to go out an buy me a car!

So in arriving to San Fransisco, California.
They (Aundrea & Dawn) meet up with Shannon OFF AIR and find she "wants to find where her heart is because it isn't in it & wants to follow her heart."
Meaning she left the group.
But along with previously being "shell-shocked" and conflicted by Diddy's decision of D. Woods & Aubrey's departure...I dont blame her but I do.

Like I said in a previous blog...she was my favorite member of the group and its sad to see her & yet another member of the group go!

Yesterday at work
A lil 6 year old girl came up to me and said

"I'm so happy Obama is the president."

I replied

"yeah, me too!"

Cuz I am and plus its good to know she knows enough to be up on politics & current events.
Then she says

"I'm so proud for you! Congradulations!"

I put on a fake smile and said

"Thanks"

2 THINGS WRONG WITH THIS STATEMENT
1)What does she mean by "I'm proud of you" as in you ppl as in you black people?&
2)The congradulations took it overboard....like I had something to do with it. Like I voted for him but her congradulations was took more so as congradulations black person your man (Obama) won!

So idk how to take this?

Touch-A-Truck

I do community service/volunteer work
for a class of mine every saturday 10am to 1pm.
Aight? Aight.
So this last Saturday
the City of Glendale hosted
Touch-A-Truck
an event were the community can come and see
the many different trucks there are on the road.
They had...
police cars, tractors, watertanks, cranes, a school bus, UPS truck, semi-trucks, diesels, Hummers, a firetruck and last but not least
the Oscar Meyer Weiner


WHO IN THE WORLD GETS THE CHANCE TO SAY THEY GOT TO SEE THE OSCAR MEYER WEINER!
