Racist or Congradulations? U B the Judge...

Yesterday at work
A lil 6 year old girl came up to me and said
"I'm so happy Obama is the president."

I replied
"yeah, me too!"

Cuz I am and plus its good to know she knows enough to be up on politics & current events.
Then she says
"I'm so proud for you! Congradulations!"

I put on a fake smile and said
"Thanks"

2 THINGS WRONG WITH THIS STATEMENT
1)What does she mean by "I'm proud of you" as in you ppl as in you black people?&
2)The congradulations took it overboard....like I had something to do with it. Like I voted for him but her congradulations was took more so as congradulations black person your man (Obama) won!

So idk how to take this?
[Note the lil girl is WHITE]
Was this a simple congradulations? and I'm taking this too far out of context? or was this lil girl raised a bit prejudice with that racist remark?

ohhhhhh wow.. mike lol that's too funnie.. honestly honey I think your tripping just a lil bit, but had someone older walked up to you and said it then i probably would have taken more offense to it, i feel like she was saying congurlations because you did have to opportunity to vote for the man we call president today you know??
lol so don't sweat it too much she's still at that stage of innoence, where her family is her biggest influence and she really doesn't know right from wrong outside of them.
